Very interesting comment.

I also think that Zend is a bit "underhyped".

The reason of course is, that it is much harder to learn Zend.

But I know of cases, where companies used Zend, and then got to know about Laravel. And then shifted to Laravel.

Especially for new developers it is easier to learn this new framework.

Another issue of Zend of course is, that it was sold in 2015 to another company and most people where not sure about the roadmap.

Otherwise I would still suggest to look at Zend/ Laminas. (But in my opinion only because large companies are still using it, and also there are legacy applications running on it).
